Dr Daphna Dor-Shiffer
MBBS MSc
Dr Daphna completed her MBBS at the University of Sydney. She then worked in several hospitals doing rotations in a variety of medical fields (Rehabilitation Medicine, Respiratory, Neurology, Palliative Care, Emergency Medicine, Surgery, ICU and others), before commencing General Practice.
Dr Daphna has a keen interest in Children’s health, Women’s health, Sexual health, Chronic disease management, preventative care, the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, as well as a special interest in dermatology and minor procedures.
She feels strongly about providing supportive, holistic care to patients in all stages of life.
Dr Pratima Herle
BMed/MD BSc (Medicine) Hons MPH
Dr Herle graduated in medicine with honours and also has completed a Masters of Public Health from UNSW.
She has gained clinical experience at Westmead Hospital but has also worked over multiple regions of NSW including Auburn, Blacktown, Mt Druitt, Orange and Broken Hill. Her interests include family medicine and general health and wellbeing.
Dr Ben Chua
MBBS Sydney Child Health Program
Dr Chua completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Western Sydney University and thereafter worked in various hospitals across Sydney (Concord Repatriation General hospital, Canterbury hospital and Auburn hospital). He has completed the Sydney Child Health Program (formely Diploma of Child Health) as part of his commitment to quality healthcare.He has special interests in skin health/wound care, child health, kidney disease, sports medicine, chronic disease medicine (asthma, diabetes, hypertension) and preventative health care.Dr Chua is committed to providing comprehensive healthcare tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Dr Tushar Yadav

Dr Tushar Yadav completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Monash University in 2013, and thereafter trained at Royal North Shore Hospital in all major medical specialties. Upon transitioning to General Practice he furthered his qualifications with a Diploma of Child Health from Sydney University and holds Professional Certificates in Skin Cancer Medicine & Surgery from the University of Queensland.Proficient in addressing a wide range of general practice conditions, Dr Yadav has a particular focus on chronic disease management, skin cancer medicine and surgery as well as preventative health.Having lived in Beecroft over the last 20 years, he remains dedicated to serving the local community through our practice.

Dr Gupta is a General Practitioner with over 25 years of experience working both in Australia and UK, and speaks English and Hindi.
He completed his Bachelor of Medicine through the University of New South Wales. Whilst working in General Practice both in the UK and in Australia, he has completed a Certificate of Family Planning, Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and more recently a Diploma in Practical Dermatology through Cardiff University.
In addition, he is a Fellow Member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He has been an Examiner and an Appraiser both here in Australia and in the UK.
Dr Gupta returned from the UK in 2010, where he was a General Practitioner with special interest in all aspects of Skin Cancer, Dermatology, and was an Associate in a Cosmetic Clinic in London.
He has a very wide breadth of experience and is very passionate about Family Medicine, Dermatology, skin cancer and its treatment.
Dr Suveer Gupta’s interests include Cosmetic Medicine, All aspects of Skin Cancer, Dermatology, Family Health, General Health & Well-being, and Minor Surgery.

Dr Tim Yee Joy

Dr Tim completed his Bachelor of Medicine through the University of Newcastle/New England where he graduated with Distinction.
Prior to General Practice, Dr Tim worked at Hornsby Hospital, Northern Beaches Hospital and John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle. He completed the Sydney Child Health Program (formerly Diploma of Child Health).
He is particularly interested in heart and lung health, mental health, child health, weight loss medications, asthma, diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, contraception, sexual health, menopause, aged care and optimising general health.
Dr Tim prides himself on keeping up to date with the latest evidence in the ever-changing world of medicine. He aims to go “above and beyond” with thorough and personalised care, taking the time to assist his patients in understanding their health conditions.

Dr Anubhav Saxena

Dr Anubhav Saxena completed his MBBS at the University of Sydney along with his Bachelor of Science and Masters in Philosophy in Stroke from University of Sydney.
He has worked in general practices across Sydney (Seven Hills, Double Bay, Hoxton Park, Hornsby) and has a special interest in skin cancer, integrative medicine and chronic disease management.
Dr Saxena also provides care at Aged Care Facilities and home visits. Away from work he donates his time to supporting the helpless Parramatta Eels.
Dr Philippa Kennedy
MBBS, Dip O&G, Dip. Child Health
Dr Kennedy is a General Practitioner with approximately 29 years of experience in General Practice. She previously worked in Newcastle and had the privilege of caring for several generations of families often from birth.
Having graduated from the University of NSW she worked for several years at Royal Newcastle and peripheral hospitals in many areas of medicine before settling down in General Practice.
She gained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Diploma in Child Health from Westmead Hospital on the way.
Dr Kennedy has recently returned to the Beecroft region where she grew up for family reasons. Her interests include all aspects of General health and well-being, preventative medicine and children’s health.
Her other interests include travelling to remote parts of the world experiencing different cultures and seeing amazing landscapes.
MBBS (Syd) Dip. Child Health (London)
Dr Alcock is an experienced GP having worked in General Practice for more than 30 years. She has been part of Beecroft Family Practice since 2002.
Dr Alcock graduated from University of Sydney and gained her clinical experience at Royal North Shore Hospital, Gosford Hospital and the former Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children (now Children’s Hospital Westmead).She then worked in London hospitals and gained her Diploma of Child Health (Royal College of Physicians, London).
Dr Amanda Alcock’s interests include Children’s Health, General Health & Wellbeing,General Practice Services and Women’s Health.
Dr Anusha Saxena
MChD FRACGP BPsych(Hons) DCH
Dr Anusha Saxena completed her medical degree at ANU and has subsequently worked across NSW (Blacktown & Bathurst Hospitals) with rotations in cardiology, respiratory medicine and infectious diseases. She has completed her general practice training in metropolitan (Gladesville) and regional clinics (Forster, Tuncurry).
Dr Saxena has a special interest in mental health with First Class Honours in Psychology from the University of Sydney and clinical psychiatry experience. Other areas of interest include women’s health and paediatrics. In her spare time she enjoys playing cricket, reading and travelling.
